No gluten, no sprue: "celiac" symptoms: colicky, crampy, fussy, maybe diarrhea are common in infants. Classical celiac disease occurs after weaning, eating grains like wheat, barley, rye, triticale (contain gluten). Not noted if solely breast feeding. Symptoms can occur later in life.
