Bipolar and: Abilify (aripiprazole) is indicated for mood regulation in bipolar disorder, but can be very helpful as well in the treatment of explosive anger and irritability, and as an augmenting medication alongside antidepressants that have only been partially effective. It can also be used in the treatment of thought disorders.

Abilify (aripiprazole): To augment antidepressants if partial response or poor tolerance to high doses, to treat psychotic features in depression, & to better stabilize receptors in brain causing mood alterations.
