Renal replacement: End Stage Renal Disease means that your kidneys are functioning only minimally, and if no treatment occurs, a person will die. Fortunately, there are three major treatments: 1) Kidney transplant from a living or cadaver donor, 2) Hemodialysis (the kidney machine), and 3) Peritoneal Dialysis.
