Dilation & Curettage: Dilation and curettage (D&C) is a surgical procedure to remove tissue from inside your uterus. A D&C is performed to diagnose or treat certain uterine conditions. Examples would be to stop very heavy bleeding or to clear the uterine lining after a miscarriage. Best wishes!
