KP: Papules (bumps) on the outside of the arms are usually due to a condition called keratosis pilaris. This is a common inherited condition characterized by prominent hair follicles and hyperkeratosis (increased keratin material) and is usually reduced by the diligent use of salicylic or lactic acid creams.
