Hypomania: A person will have elevated or irritable mood, with a change from his/her normal, lasting more than 4 days but less than a week. Function not significantly impaired. Grandiose, less need for sleep, speech is pressured, ideas scattered/racing, activity goal-directed, excess activity in pleasure seeking despite negative consequences, easy distracted. symptoms needed - 3 if elevated, 4 if irritated.
