Many potential side : As with any medication there are many potential side effects. It is important to weigh risk vs benefit. As far as driving it can be sedating for some people at least initially so it would be important to wait a few days after starting to take it before trying to drive. It is sometimes taken twice a day and sometimes only at bedtime. If still drowsy in am try taking it early evening
