Ziconotide is....: Ziconotide is an approved intrathecal drug for treating neuropathic and chronic pain. It inhibits N-type voltage-gated calcium channels as its presumed mechanism of action. Some of Ziconotide adverse effects include include neurologic and cognitive impairment, dizziness, confusion, memory deficits.

More serious hallucinations, delirium, paranoia, psychosis, cognitive or memory impairment, muscle breakdown, and renal failure. FDA warns psychiatric/neurological severe impairment may occur (black box warning), and the drug is contraindicated if prior history of psychosis
