Encephalitis: Most viral encephalitis show none or few mild flu-like symptoms such as fever & headaches & fatigue & muscle/joint aches. More severe cases also show confusion, agitation, delirium, seizures, muscle weakness, double vision, smell/speech/hearing problems, loss of consciousness. Infants & young kids may also show stiffness, nausea, vomiting, irritability, constant crying, poor feeding.
