What are the criteria for matching kidneys between a donor and a recipient?

Donor Matching: The donor's blood type (ABO type) needs to be compatible with that of the recipient. Rh factor (+ vs. -) does not matter. You also need to be crossmatch negative (i.e. your body does not have pre-formed antibodies against the donor's protein type)
