BRAC testing: With a family history of ovarian cancer, you might want to consider brac 1 and 2 testing. A mutation in one of these genes has a dramatic effect on your risk of both ovarian and breast cancer. To answer your question, there is no perfect age, because there is no perfect test for ovarian cancer.
