Excipial: Excipial is a new product line by Galderma which has good hand creams. Also, limit exposure to water as this often exacerbates what you're describing. ALways best to see a dermatologist to make sure nothing else is going on.

Emollients: often this occurs in winter due to dryness , moisturizers will help; also frequent washing with harsh soaps can contribute. mild soaps and following washes with moisturizers will benefit. also try not to pick or scratch the areas .
