A lot: Orencia (abatacept) is one of the newer biologics used to treat Rheumatoid arthritis. It affects the T cells a little lower in the inflammatory chain, so it does more than just affect tumor necrosis factor. Recent reports show that Orencia (abatacept) has induced remission in rheumatoid arthritis that is drug free for caring periods of time. It,s a good drug.
