BRONCHIAL ASTHMA: Bronchial asthma is diagnosed when the child starts wheezing, sibilant and sonorous rales are heard throughout the lungfield and positive family hx of asthma. If only dry cough is heard, bronchodilator inhalation is tried to find out if child will respond to treatment.
