How do you treat backbone osteoporosis?

Depends: Hi. Two categorical mechanisms: 1) anti-resorptive therapy, and 2) anabolic therapy. Most drugs are anti-resorptive: gonadal steroids (you haven't stated your gender...so, either estrogen or testosterone), all the bisphosphonates, denosumab, and others. The only anabolic drug is teriparatide, a favorite of mine assuming no contraindications. An ol' buddy, Mike Lewiecki, MD, runs a great program
