No, not really: Bowleggedness is actually a normal part of growing up. Some children are more Bowlegged than other, but almost all straighten out as they get older. There are a few rare causes of pathological bowing: Rickets, Blount disease, and skeletal dysphasia, and asymmetric growth arrest; these all occur in childhood or adolescence.
