Influenza: Flu symptoms may include: muscle aches & pains, a fever above 100 degrees, headache, congestion, weakness, chills, increased sweating and coughing. According to the CDC: "The time from when a person is exposed to flu virus to when symptoms begin is about 1 to 4 days." Influenza diagnosis can be confirmed with tests using a nasal swab or with blood for antibody testing.
