Usually none: Most HPV infections cause no symptoms at all and nothing abnormal on examination. But some infections cause genital or anal warts, and others can cause cancer. But actual cancer is easily prevented by regular health care. And you can prevent the most important HPV related health problems by immunization. Talk to your primary care doctor about the available vaccines.
