Get Vaccinated and: First step before travelling to an endemic area is to get vaccinated against Typhoid Fever at least 2 weeks prior to your departure And you have to be careful where you eat and drink.Drink water which has been boiled and then cooled for drinking or second best if you can not get boiled water use bottled water or carbonated drinks like coke or pepsi.
