Numerous: Due to the disease, pts can fall and get injured, have problems swallowing and may get poor nutrition, may get confused and disoriented and need ongoing supervison and care, may get numerous medication reactions, will gradually lose ability to care for self and may become immobilized and bedridden with risk for blood clots in limbs, and of course both longevity and quality of life are impaired.
