First, call OB: To let them know you are sick. Fever is not good for the baby and you need to be examined to make sure there is not something such as strep throat causing your symptoms. A bacterial infection can threaten your pregnancy as can uncontrolled fever. Once the bad things that need to be treated with antibiotics have been ruled out, then your doctor can advise you about things to relieve symptoms.

Acute illness: This sounds viral, but getting a throat culture would be reasonable, and if positive for Strep then penicillin therapy is entirely safe during pregnancy. Suggest bed rest, lots of fluids, and massages from your partner. Best wishes for you to recovery quickly.
