Neurology consult: Motor neuron disease is a way for doctor to classify your condition, but by itself, there is no way to tell you what to do. You need a neurologist to evaluate your symptoms and signs to come to a more precise localization of the lesion. Is it in you central nervous system or peripheral nervous system, or both? Has all other diseases that affect the motor system been ruled out?

Particulars: At your age, it is likely caused by genetic disorder, and genetic counseling would be in order. Doubt the drug for ALS, riluzole would be approved, but might help. Need to find neurologist and consider rehabilitation approaches.
