Depends: It depends on the cause. Peri-oral lesions are a common manifestation of deficiency of B vitamins. It would be prudent to consult your doctor; in the meantime, you may try over the counter B complex vitamins.

See a dermatologist: Perioral dermatitis is a distinct rash on the face, seen mostly in young or middle-age women. It has NOTHING TO WITH VITAMINS!!!. The most common cause is the use of cortisones on the face. When cortisone, usually a potent prescription one, is applied, it will improve at first, then rebound worse. First stop using steroid cream on face. Protopic and Elidel (pimecrolimus) creams help. Minocycline and doxycycline
