See a Doc: While a certain amount of swelling is typical after any amputation, it is best to see the surgeon that operated on you to make sure there is no infection.

Swelling is common: Following any surgery, swelling is common. Swelling should improve though with time. If you do not see signs of improvement consult with your surgeon.
