With a fever of 103,: she should be examined by her doctor to determine the cause this time. If she has a history of a UTI and the doctor finds no other cause for the fever, she should be checked for a UTI again. Has she had blood-work done? If not, it may be time for some. Also, is she up-to-date on her vaccines? Although 1 year olds often have viruses, they should not have recurrent fevers without a cause.
