Sure: Anyone having sex without condoms or birth control is at risk of an unplanned pregnancy. Use over the counter Plan B if intercourse was within 72 hours to decrease the risk of unplanned pregnancy.

Timeline?: If you had sex and then a week later you had a normal period, then you aren't pregnant. If you had sex a week before your period was due then didn't have a period, you could be. Either way a home pregnancy test should give you the answer. Thanks for Trusting HealthTap!

No: Under normal circumstances you ovulate about 2 weeks before you start a period. However if this was not a regular 28 or more day cycle, you never know. If in doubt get a pregnancy test.
