What are signs of exercise intolerance?

Interesting question: In medicine i think of a "sign" as an objective observation by the examiner, vs "symptom" as a subjective self observation by the patient. There fore the sign of exercise intolerance would be the patient "failing" an exercise stress test with a critical result.

Think along the: lines of more shortness of breath and/or fatigue than you would otherwise expect at any particular level of exercise(exertion).

Powerful Impact: The signs of exercise intolerance can include unusual breathlessness, muscle pain, and increasing muscle weakness with exercise. After exercise one can experience headaches, dizziness and fatigue. Exercise intolerance can have a profound negative impact forcing an individual to make significant lifestyle changes.
