No,but Vit D &K wise: Few people need Calcitriol as our bodies generally convert Vit D into Calcitriol as needed, but all adults should take 5-8000 iu of Vit D3/day during fall & winter months to achieve optimal levels of 50-80. It's wise to take Vit K when taking Calcium to insure the calcium goes into your bones & not your arteries. Otherwise taking calcium increases atherosclerosis. See http://tinyurl.com/pj7cxm5
