Fungal ear infection: How do you know you have fungal ear infection? Clotrimazole drops is generally not used in US, so I don't have personal experience with it. However, suspected fungal ear infection should be evaluated by an ENT and cleared manually under a microscope. Your ENT will then advise you on how to keep the ear dry and prevent reinfestation.

Otitis externa: Without seeing this it is impossible to speculate. Go back and discuss with the doctor who prescribed the clotrimazole. Good luck and wish you better.
