Probably: If you have gastritis, you are very likely to have vomiting, much more so than a person without gastritis. If gastric acid comes up into your esophagus (the tube from the mouth to the stomach) it burns the esophagus. This definitely occurs when you throw up. Left untreated this could be dangerous, You should see a doctor.

Tough to say: without a good history and physical exam it is tough to say if your gastritis had anything to do with your bouts of vomiting. If it continues, then see the doctor for an evaluation and assessment of your issues. Good luck.
