Yes: Emetrol is an over the counter preparation offered to relieve nausea and vomiting. This flavored material uses some complex carbohydrates to settle the stomach & may break the cycle of recurrent retching. Years ago we used cola over chipped ice sipped slowly for the same purpose & had variable success.Sometimes just sucking on ice chips will break the retching cycle.
