Dermatologist/acutan: I would see a dermatologist who specializes in treatment of acne. One option would be suppressive antibiotics and skin wash with antibiotic soap. Another option is Accutane this is a Vitamin A derivative but has some significant possible side effects so you doctor would need to discuss these with you. Light therapies can be used to treat acne and lasers can be used to help treat scarring.
