No: Esophageal cancer is best found by seeing a health care provider that can look in your esophagus with an endoscope.

Esophageal cancer: NO. Ultrasound of the neck does NOT evaluate the entire esophagus. A major portion of the esophagus is in the chest on its way to the stomach
