STD: What you describe could be due to a sexually transmitted disease (STD). It is a good idea for both you and your girlfriend to be tested for sexually transmitted diseases (STD). In most states evaluations for sexually transmitted diseases can be obtained confidentially at health departments at little or no cost. It is always better to know, and to get treatment if needed.
