Lucky, I guess!: Sorry, i'm feeling flippant tonight. Testosterone is metabolized (broken down) into Dht & Estradiol (e2). How much is "wasted" is an individual matter (we don't have much natural control). We can try to affect the ratio of wastage, eg dht:e2, by exercising & losing fat, which might decrease e2 & increase Dht (think of a seesaw). If you're losing hair or have enlarged prostate, 5ari will lower dht.
