Hangover: Hi. It's only Sunday, so yes, that's pretty normal. You're dehydrated and probably upset your electrolytes a bit too. Make sure you get plenty of fluids and take it easy today. It should be pretty much better by the time for work on Monday morning. Good luck!

Yes: Alcohol causes extreme dehydration by inhibiting a hormone called ADH (vasopressin) released from your pituitary. You end up urinating a lot and in the processes depleting not just volume but other electrolytes and minerals. I would suggest hydration and taking a multi vitamin and/ or eating magnesium rich foods (avocados etc). Ibuprofen and other NSAIDs are also useful taken with food.
