See below: milk protein allergy can cause irritability and vomiting. The sugar in the stool on a lactose free formula may be pointing to another sugar intolerance such as sucrose. I suggest further investigation of the reason for sugar in the stool on a lactose free formula. Is there an issue with sugar absorption?
