Please clarify: Sorry, it's difficult to answer your question without knowing where on your body i.e. which nerves you're referring to, what your symptoms are, what you think is/was the cause of the nerve damage, and what led you to conclude that it could be nerve damage. Please repost with that info.

Neuropathy: can involve part of a single nerve or a group of nerves, I suggest you consult a neurologist if you think you have nerve injury or peripheral neuropathy. Injury to part of the thalamus in the brain can also cause increased perception of pain (on one side of the body)
