Not recommended: There is no evidence to indicate that alcohol can actually cause gallstones. However, the most common causes of acute pancreatitis is gallstones and drinking alcohol.

See answer: Alcohol, in moderation would be ok. You need to continue to cut out fats and any foods that can aggravate your gall stones and gall bladder issues. Be sure to follow-up with the surgeon and get the condition corrected as soon as possible. Best wishes.
