Did you have: pelvic inflammatory disease? If yes, may wish to consult with your gynecologist about amount of damage that was incurred. There is a 20-25% chance of getting pregnant this first time around. 50% of couples take 5-6 months to conceive. 85% of couples become pregnant after 1 year.

Doubt it: If you were pregnant with your son, the uterus was full of a baby mass and likely blocked any invasion of your tubes that would have scarred them.(causing a problem) If it went untreated after delivery, it might have a chance to move in. Most cite an average of 6 mo to achieve a desired pregnancy with range from weeks to a year.At a year both you and dad would need evaluation at a fertility center
