A member asked:

What causes an enlarged neck lymph and haw do we treat it ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Lymph node: Typically an enlarged lymph node is a sign of a local infection, the node is what houses or congregates the cells that fight the nearby infection. I would get an exam to see if you have any infection in your throat or sinuses. If a node persists to be large occasionally a biopsy is done to make certain it is not a sign of cancer.
