Prod. cough dyspnea: Need to be seen and examined, perhaps CXR depending on exam, and perhaps antibiotics, inhalers, etc. as well. Please be seen in urgent care by PCP or if worsening, ER with mask on. Pertussis can affect older patients in spite of earlier immunizations, especially if no Tdap given. At the least a better cough medication than Delsym (dextromethorphan) can be prescribed for bronchitis. Some viruses affect the heart, too

Evaluate: A productive cough with shortness of breath should be evaluated quickly. The symptoms are worrisome for pneumonia/bronchitis. Your parents should take you to the doctor as soon as possible
