Cough: Have your little one checked. It is important to know the cause of the cough. Some viruses can cause coughs that last for a month but there are other causes. Cough medications are not recommended for a child this young as they may have adverse side effects. Please see your doctor and get the advise you need.

Reflux?: If her cough is from some reflex, then it is possible that at 4 1/2 months she is having some problem with the seralac. It is a little heavier than the cereals we initially start here in the US. Try stopping the cereal for 5 days and see if the cough stops. If it doesn't, then probably from a viral infection or something else.
