Herpes is unlikely: This is unlikely to be herpes, which doesn't cause simple "red dots", but blisters that become pimple-like or open sores, then heal with scabs. Also, initial herpes usually occurs at site where inoculated, i.e. generally at sites of maximum friction during sex, such as labia, vaginal opening, etc. Recurrent oubreaks can be on thighs, but rarely first infection. See your doctor if still concerned.
