Likely nothing: There is no direct effect from an epidural on the fetus; indirectly, changes in blood pressure due to an epidural may transiently effect the pattern of the baby's heart rate during labor. Having had six Epidurals during the course of labor likely speaks to technical challenges the anesthesiologist had with placing &/or poor relief from it. Increased chance of a spinal headache for you afterwards.
