Oversleeping. : Not unless you are bed bound for prolonged periods of time (days, months, years). Don't worry about it. Sleep as much as your body requires.

Weight gain: im not sure I understand the question. Are you worried that sleeping an extra hour will cause muscle atrophy? Of course not. If you stop exerting your muscle mass will decrease. If you dramatically decrease your activity and increase your caloric intake then you will gain weight.

Hmm: This might be more of a myth that oversleeping makes you gain weight. Theoretically if you did nothing but sleep you'd probably waste away. We have patients in a coma that require physical therapy to keep their muscles strong. So you might be right. I'd suggest continuing to exercise and just eat healthy. Good luck.
