If you are really: new to having sexual intercourse - there could be parts of the hymen which were previously intact and are now torn with bleeding. Trauma can cause bleeding. If there is heavy bleeding after sexual intercourse - should be checked. If bleeding after sex is recurrent - should be checked. Take care.
