No: These are types of studies that only should be done if necessary. If the child is doing well I would not. Only do a test if you know that you will do something for the pt. Do the one you need for the condition you are treating. Do no subject this child to more testing.

Depends: If still having persisting dev delays, then yes you should do the MRI of the brain as well. No radiation involved. Why getting MRI of abdomen?

Any child with : Global Developmental Delay, diagnosed as Intellectual Disability at age 5 by standardized IQ tests, &/or Autistic Spectrum Disorder needs genetic tests: a Chromosomal Microarray & DNA Probe for Fragile X. Kidney & other organ abnormalities are found in many syndromes. If the child has microcephaly, a small head, motor impairment or other neurological or growth abnormality, a brain MRI is useful.
