Probably not: There is a theoretical concern that some alcohol could be absorbed through the skin of the hands, potentially raising blood alcohol levels in a pregnant woman. We know alcohol exposure to a growing fetus is harmful. The amount potentially absorbed would be very small and not a concerning risk. However, if you wash your hands frequently, i.e. health care worker, consider good ole' soap and water!

Not really: A general rule for pregnancy: lotions/creams/cleaners you use on your skin surface will not be absorbed in enough quantity to be detectable in the blood.They are thus considered safe during pregnancy and or breast feeding.
