Acne: Dianette is not FDA-approved for use in the United States, due to concerns about hepatotoxicity;so we have no experience with it. It is also banned in France due to high risk and complication profile. its useful for acne as an antiandrogen but the progestin, and antigonadotropin function make it risky. Spironolactone is safer antiandrogen prescription and Myo-inositol is a good natural alternative
